Why use an IBCLC for Lactation Support?

Lactation consultants are board certified clinicians that specialize in infant breastfeeding management and the treatment of lactation-specific breast pathology.

International board-certified lactation consultants (IBCLCs) are considered the Gold Standard in lactation support and are the only professionals credentialed to provide complete clinical lactation support and care. We receive referrals from doctors, nurses, La Leche League leaders, lactation educators, and other breastfeeding specialists when an issue goes beyond minor troubleshooting.

Receiving the right kind of support from the right person is vital to overcoming challenges; contact us if you are experiencing an issue that requires clinical management.

“A newborn baby has only three demands. They are warmth in the arms of its mother, food from her breasts, and security in the knowledge of her presence. Breastfeeding satisfies all three”
